Friendly GP

Many of our policies come with the free added benefit of access to our virtual GP service, Friendly GP.

It can be accessed over the phone or online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week giving you easy access to a doctor when you need their help.

Policies it’s included on:

  • Over 50s Life Cover
  • Accident Only Income Protection
  • Income Protection
  • My PMI - all levels
  • All other private medical insurance policies (except Care Plus)
  • Guaranteed Life Assurance policies started after 15 March 2022

24/7 GP telephone consultations - The private GP helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. That means you receive unlimited advice, reassurance, diagnosis or medication when you need it.

Video consultations - The online eConsultation service enables you to have an online video consultation in the comfort of your own home or place of work. The service is available 8am-10pm, 7 days a week, excluding UK bank holidays.

Private prescriptions - Should the doctor feel you would benefit from prescription medication, you can have the medication delivered to you at any UK address or sent to a pharmacy of your choice.

Open referrals - If the doctor thinks your condition requires further investigation or treatment, they can issue an open private referral letter to enable you to access the health care you need.

Annual General Meeting

We recently held our 150th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday 28 September 2023 at our Head Office in Bristol. It was a great opportunity for our members to interact with our Board both in person and online.

  • Personal Pensions Contracts
