About Alzheimer's Society:
Alzheimer’s Society offers help and hope to anyone affected by dementia. Dementia is complicated and difficult, but they help people to navigate the ever-evolving challenges of the condition, so that suffers and their families don’t have to face it alone. One day, research will give us the treatments that can slow down, or even cure dementia. But until then, Alzheimer’s Society will be there for everyone who needs them, every step of the way.
In addition to their Dementia Navigators, Southmead Hospital Discharge Programme, Support Groups, and a side-by-side service, Alzheimer’s Society invests in ground-breaking research to find better ways of diagnosing, treating, and caring for people with dementia.
Our fundraising plans:
To start the calendar off, our colleagues will be taking part in the Bristol 10k on Sunday 19 May to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society. You can sponsor them via our JustGiving link below.
We’re also preparing to take part in Trek26, a charity hike across the Cotswolds which is held by Alzheimer’s Society.
Stay tuned for more news on our fundraising plans!
