  • You don’t have to answer any medical questions and they’ll still be guaranteed cover.
  • If you choose to answer the two medical questions, you might qualify for an increased payout.
  • If you complete the medical questions they could qualify for a shorter qualifying period.
  • You’ll get free access to Friendly GP, our virtual GP service where you can get medical help online or over the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • If you die from an accident during your qualifying period, we’ll still pay your full payout. This will only apply if you die as a result of your injuries within 30 days of the accident.
  • If you die during your qualifying period but it wasn’t due to an accident, we’ll pay back all the payments you’ve made.
  • We offer a terminal illness benefit where we pay half the payout directly to you if you get a terminal illness diagnosis three years or more after taking out your policy. The rest is paid out as normal when you die.

Your questions answered

We offer guaranteed cover to non-smokers aged 45 to 80 or smokers aged 45 to 75.

They can choose to answer our two medical questions or not.

If they proceed without answering the questions they will get a policy with a standard payment/payout and qualifying period.

If they complete the medical questions they could qualify for a discounted payment/increased payout and a shorter qualifying period.

They’ll have to make the payments for their policy for the rest of their life.

Every policy comes with free access to our virtual GP service. It’s called Friendly GP and it can be accessed over the phone or online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
