Terms and conditions - Friendly Shield Sickness Cover prize draw

This free prize draw is only open to clients of FCA-registered Financial Intermediaries who have opened a National Deposit Friendly Society Limited (“National Friendly”), Friendly Shield policy between the dates 7th January 2025 – 14th February 2025 inclusive.

  1. Employees of National Friendly, or their immediate family members or anyone connected to the prize draw may not enter.
  2. Entry to the prize draw will be deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. To enter the free prize draw you must be a client of an FCA-registered Financial Intermediary who has opened a National Friendly, Friendly Shield policy between the dates 7th January 2025 – 14th February 2025 inclusive.

  5. The winners agree to allow the promoter to use their names and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without added remuneration.  The winners will take part in reasonable publicity and PR activity at the promoter’s request.
  6. National Friendly accepts no responsibility for applications that are incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any other technical reason.
  7. The closing date for the prize draw is midnight on Friday 14 February 2025.  Entries outside of this time period will not be considered.
  8. The winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  9. A winner will be selected at random and notified by 5pm on Monday 17th February 2025 via email or telephone.  If the winner does not respond to the email or phone call to National Friendly within 5 working days, then the prize will be forfeited and National Friendly will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.  That winner will have to respond to notification of their win within 5 working days, or else they will also forfeit their prize.
  10. The prize consists of a refund of the client’s first year’s premiums, which will be processed when the client reaches their first year policy anniversary. For the avoidance of doubt, National Friendly will collect premiums throughout the first year and refund the payments made in month 13 of the policy.    If a winner rejects their prize, cancels or lapses their policy in the first year, or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms and conditions, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and National Friendly shall be entitled to select another winner.
  11. The prize is subject to availability and is non-transferable.
  12. The promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects of the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
  13. The promoter of this prize draw is National Friendly, 11-12 Queen Square, Bristol, BS1 4NT.

 

Terms and conditions – Friendly Shield one month free promotion

  1. The one month free promotion applies to new National Deposit Friendly Society Limited (“National Friendly”) Friendly Shield policies sold between Tuesday 7th January 2025 and Friday 14th February 2025 inclusive.  All other National Friendly products are excluded from this offer.
  2. The promotion is available for sales made via a Financial Intermediary who is registered to place business with National Friendly.
  3. This offer is subject to all terms and conditions listed in National Friendly’s Terms of Business Agreement.
  4. This offer is not available for sales made directly from customers.
  5. Within 12 months of the policy start date, one full month’s premium will be waived by National Friendly.
  6. Friendly Shield sales placed during the promotional period will be deemed to be in acceptance of these terms and conditions.

  8. National Friendly accepts no responsibility for sales that are incomplete or cannot be completed for any other technical reason.
  9. The closing date for the promotion is midnight on Friday 14th February 2025. Sales outside of the promotion period, as listed in point 1 above, will not have the one month free promotion applied.
  10. There is no cash alternative.
  11. This promotion can be withdrawn at any time.
