We provide two different forms of service depending on your requirements:

Our history

Our roots have given us a unique insight into the financial marketplace and this has enabled us to build enduring relationships with our customers and key product providers.

We began life originally as part of AWD Chase de Vere which evolved from AWD Group's acquisition in 2005 of Chase de Vere Financial Solutions plc, formerly Chase de Vere Investments plc (founded 1983) and Moneyextra Mortgages Ltd (founded 1998), providers of award-winning website moneyextra.com, acquired from former owners the Bank of Ireland Group.

In September 2009 National Friendly bought us, and the people and systems became known as 425 Direct Limited; a wholly owned subsidiary of National Friendly. National Friendly is a specialist healthcare insurer that formed in 1868 and has experience of pensions, investments, regular savings, annuities and life cover.

In August 2018, we brought our branding in line with our parent company and rebranding ourselves as National Friendly Financial Solutions.

Our registered details

National Friendly Financial Solutions is a trading name of 425 Direct Limited.

425 Direct Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Our Financial Services Register number is 452784 and we are permitted to advise on and arrange investments, pensions, life and insurance products and mortgages. The FCA does not regulate tax advice or will-writing.

Our parent company

425 Direct Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of National Friendly, a specialist healthcare insurer formed in 1868 that also has experience of pensions, investments, regular savings, annuities and life cover. National Friendly provides financial support to 425 Direct Limited such that it is able to maintain a sufficient level of capital to administer its operation.
