Charlton Farm supports children with life-limiting conditions, which means they are unlikely to reach adulthood. It provides respite stays for the whole family, giving them the chance to spend precious time together and make happy memories.
The funds we raise will ensure that they can continue to be here whenever families need them, providing the highest standards of care. They currently support over 230 families in and around Bristol. Families have said, “Without the support, guidance and care we received from all the team at Charlton Farm, we would not have coped” and “We were supported every step of the way from the early days to the end by an amazing team of carers who always showed so much care, respect and love for our very special children.”
It costs just under £4 million to keep Charlton Farm open and no family pays a penny to stay with them. They receive an average percentage of their funding from the Government so they rely heavily on voluntary donations.
